We don't know each other mate but man oh man I'm glad you're able to be posting about surviving that brutal looking accident! I hope you have a speedy recovery and a BIG pat on the back to those BMW engineers who designed that car!

Best wishes

Craig.

Glad you are okay and this is what counts.

Something had to happen with that plate.

Bit of T-Cut and nobody will notice.

I hope your recovery is going well.

I have literally just done this today..

If you have not done it yet it takes 5 mins online and costs Ł80. At the end you'll have the certificate number and in a week the new V5c with the old plate back on..

So long as its not been scrapped yet and it's still taxed you should be fine.. All you need is the 11 digit V5c doc ref number, the reg number and postcode of reg'd keeper and a card to pay Ł80 of course..

DVLA sent me a theeat today of a fine as the BMW is no longer insured as I removed it from my trade policy last month.

But they've sent me no new log book for it since I transfered plate so I can't sorn it, and I'm not taxing it either, I can't win lol

don't waste your time, write the nice policeman a letter asking who you should forward any future twat letters to

From what I can see, structure looks to have done it's job, so fair play BMW. When I see things like this, glad I got my Mum a modern car, her trusty Escort Mk2 was solid, but not that solid!

Hope the recovery is going well, good to see DVLA on top form, send them the pics to confirm it's off the road!!!
