hi people what can I do to improve the steering on this mk3 escort turbo...

Stefan it up a bit etc

any bolt on things going

got 16 inch alloys on it thats one thing

the car rolls about to

want it to be firm and stiff

any one know what i can do i mite sound stupid but worth a ask.......

 

Are you wanting to stiffen the suspension up?(Stefan is Paul Robinson from Neighbours BTW)

You haven't said what bushes, dampers and springs you are using.

On my ERST I have Spax PSX kit -40mm and polybushes all round.
My FRST has G-max kit and no polybushes.

The FRST rocks about if I shake the car, The ERST doesn't even budge.

Whilst i'm replying you haven't mentioned if the car is an RS or a low spec car with a turbo engine in, The RS turbo has different bushes & suspension, that the lower cars have/havent got.

 

You don't say what setup you have put don't use any shit like Gmax on your car.

Look at good suspension setup and then Replace the bushes, tcas, series1 front setup and maybe a quick rack.

 

As above. I'd avoid G-max, While they where fitted to my car new already they certainly aren't my choice of suspension mods.
