Default Custom Rs turbo inlet manifold

Does anyone no were or someone that can do custom inlet manifolds for my escort rs turbo wanting to be running 400bhp + and want to do away with the over engine charge pipe

It's flat out not much else I can get on it lol am running 300 + at the moment and just on with changing my management and sorting my inlet manifold out then will see how well it holds together lol

whats flat out ? yours ? 300bhp isnt hard to get from a 1.6cvh , 350 is thats why there is hardly any of them around

oh right, what u done bout oil pump? what u done bout valve train? what u done bout head lifting ? what u done about block?
what cam and turbo u using ?

Am just running burton high pressure pump at the moment it's got a burton cnc head Newman cam solid lifters arp studded block and it's got a t3 hybrid turbo done at cr turbos it's got all sorts am not out there to brake records and to have it last for ever I use it in summer in nice weather so that means 2 weeks of the year lol am just going to see what I can push out of it as my times costs me nothing and I love seeing what can be got out of the smaller engines

I think nms run a modified s1 manifold that gets them to 350. Don't know what they use after that point.

u will also find every few tuners who will try mapping a cvh to 400+bhp as it will more than likely shit its self

Lol that's why am mapping it if it does then it does I will then put a 1.9 long stroke in it or zvh but will have some fun with this one first

your turbo is already near max at 300 u wont see much more out it

I no it's built to take 30 psi then I will have to look at something better not sure what yet

pump will be a problem
head will still lift
needs different turbo

what size boost pipes , intercooler

what size exhaust system and down pipe u running( id hope your already on cossie t3 and down pipe)

i had loads of problems with rockers , studs , caps , collets all failing and dropping valves

I will keep an eye on my pressure lol what turbo would you recommend and it's only on 48 housing and 3 inch exhaust at the moment

It's running at near to 7 on compression it's on accralite pistons and burton h beam rods

proper low then , prob is at that comp need a massive turbo to make the power and it will be laggy and not drive well power band of 2k-3k

id be phoning owen developments or turbo dynamics and asking them that. tell them wat u want and trying to do and they get some custom built turbo for u but be 1500-2k i would think

Would think you will need to go gt30 maybe 76 with the compression you have to get somewhere near 400

I will be lifting my compression it was a so called expert who said it needed to be that low so that will help get rid of some of my lag I will ring up about the turbo tomorrow and am on with sorting the manifold now
