Default few issues with my sapphire

hi guys im after a bit of help. i been spending last few weekends getting my cossie back out of storage and running again. its been parked up for nearly 4 years. when it went off the the road i knew i had an engine problem which i found was a damaged crankshaft pulley and sensor. since getting her out i have changed these parts and also fitted a new dizzy cap, rotor arm, phase sensor, leads, plugs, ignition module, grp a coil, thermostat, timing belt, pulley and pump, battery, alternator and new fluids. when i start her up the tickover lunges between 400 to 1200 revs and after a few seconds idles at about 850. rev her up and she does the same or stalls half the time. she will fire back up straight away but once you are out driving and the car has warmed up if she then stalls she will not fire back up and have to wait about 15-20 mins before she will start again. another issue is when coming off boost. i used to get a big whoosh from the dump valve but now its more like a flutter, unless im really tanking it then its a mix off the 2, a big gush off air out the dump valve then the flutter/chatter. i have fitted another external dump valve but its the same. i have a stage 3 t34 fitted.another problem i got is the heater has stopped working altogether. do you think it might just be the resistor or maybe more. the heater had never been very good in all the years i had it. the last one is my heated front screen, the elements seem fine and the switch works but i get nothing at all. i have heard about it might be an earth cable under the windscreen but i have not found it yet. any help on these matters would help me greatly!!

first off engine running issues. If your not too sure then take it to someone who deals with them. It will save a lot of guesswork and internet advice.

Heated screen cables are located by the tops of the wing rails and have 2 cables per side with spade terminals which are heatshrunk.

Heater motor just replace complete unit 2 nuts one plug and a cover its out.

Every man and his dog will give advice on your engine probs and you will be chasing issues which are not a problem and possibly causing more harm than good. Without having the car in front of you its all guesswork.

Regards
Paul
