Hi guys just a quick question to the old folk who've been on here for years , there was a red mk3 fiesta xr2i that was turbo converted had 306 headlights was featured in a mag also does anyone know anything about this motor ? H599flm ?

I have that mag somewhere. Would love to get my hands on it and remove those fuck awful headlamps.

 

Wow.. It's times like this, the phrase 'epic fail' was made for!

 

Never works swapping lights from manufacturer to manufacturer, the bonnet always ends up looking daft and the fiesta had such a nice front anyway....each to their own.

I have morettes on one of my 205s and I much prefer the standard ones and will swap back once I sort the cooling and cold air feed / new intercooler.

 

That red one would be the one , was looking for the mag , a freind of mine broke it a while ago and I've got the engine for my Erst just wondering if anyone knew of the spec or weather it was in the mag ?

Engine seems to have an ok spec to it, should go well properly set up.

 

Not got much going on with the engine at the moment , restoring the car , I've put It to mfi to try keep my car looking standard anything else I could do to make it that better , as you said it's an ok spec

I thought they came with efi as standard?

 

The engine came out of the fiesta witch was Efi , I only have the bare engine to fit into my escort rs turbo witch is mfi , so I had to change the head over to mfi etc boring prosess but has to be done I posted in the restorations section because I brought the escort as a box of bits and don't know where some of the pipes/wires go so wanted some photos of people's engine bay at good angles so I can see where they go but with over 100 people viewing it no one wants to help lol

 

I would stick with efi rather than mfi
