That mk1 and 2 are just insane! Didn't know the 4 motion gearbox was strong enough (or could be made strong enough) for that!

Yeti has an TT RS engine and running gear as far as I know, but with something like 600bhp. The bloke bought a brand new Yeti just to do the conversion there are some good articles about it online, i'll try and find a few.

Saw the yeti at combe a couple of months ago, couldn't believe my eyes when it was slaying a couple of new m3's lol

 

1000 ps in a mk1 at about 1 ton is formula one car power to weight of not long ago....no wonder it is sleighing sports bikes.
