Has anyone on here previously owned a magenta 4x4 reg H287 MPD. Came from Milton Keynes area. It's had a few owners from that area over the years.

 

I owned that car back in the 90's, it broke my bank balance and my heart!

Bought at 80k in 1995ish. Over the next 9 months the engine mounts failed twice throwing out the front drive shafts, then synchro went in 2nd, then management unit failed, then the head gasket, the final nail in the coffin was I took it to have the tracking done as it was eating tyres, and they told me it had been in a smash and they were unable to bring the tracking in to tolerence. I hope the current owner is having a better experience.

Having said all that, it put a big smile on my face in the brief periods of being in working order, and I still talk about it now!!
