Default 2007 Focus 1.6 petrol clutch query

Just a quick one although not exciting, just took one of these in as a part ex and the clutch feels very light, almost springy, I have had fords like this before and im wondering what causes it? The previous keeper has just had the clutch changed, any ideas? Its not slipping

cheers

Andrew

If the clutch has been changed and it works as intended then it'll just be because the slave cylinder and pressure plate are new, they stiffen up over time and miles, not drastically but enough to notice when a new one is put in.
