Hi does anyone know where to buy a new 2 part speedo cable for a series 2. Only really need the gearbox side not the speedo side. Cheers

 

Same here. Can find the 1 piece easily (which just isnt long enough!) or the speedo end of 2 piece, but could really do with a gbox end piece

 

Yea that's my exact problem too mate, I mite see if I can get a second hand gear box side of cable. eBay is full of just the speedo end or just the 1 piece. And I've searched Online and just can't find anything

 

Is the 2 part exclusive to the rs turbo?

 

Think it was anything fitted with ABS originally (so prob included some 3i's)

 

Yea think your spot on with that mate. Saprised they only seem to make the speedo side of the cable, seems stupid

No the ABS has been removed. My inner cable has basically snapped just as it goes into the gearbox so I was just hoping to get that half of the cable as its a 2 second job just to undo two nuts in engine bay instead of taking the clocks out etc. But if I have to I have too.
