Just got an end of summer convertible bargain lol but the roof needs cleaning. It looks like its been a bit green in past and he has jet washed it leaving it black and green striped lol.

What's best to do? Best product?

I would speak to ultimate finish. I actually had good results with the Halfords kit on the wife's Z3M that had not been well looked after, came up really well.

 

After you complete 2stgs water just runs of roof really impressed

 

If it just needs a good clean then a strong all purpose cleaner (such as Autosmart G101) and a reasonably stiff brush should shift the muck. Just make sure you keep the car really wet as you don't want to stain paintwork etc with streaks.

I've not tried it yet (as not had any really bad roofs for a while) but all their other kit is good stuff.
