Fuel line fittings help 😜
Hi
I'm going to be using mostly aeromotive -6 fuel line fittings. I believe they are compression fitting?
Whats the most reliable long term?? swayed , crimped, or compression

If you are using the correct fittings for the hose and fit in accordance with the manufactures instructions compression fittings are just as reliable as a swaged or crimped fitting.
At work we use compression fittings with the same design principle as the Earls with are HP air systems these have a working pressure of 2500psi.

Soo... I have aeromotive compression fittings. Red and blue in colour. They came with the aeromotive bypass regulator kit. A1000-6 eclipse talon kit to be precise..... The hose I believe I have is the none smelly stuff you can run in the car. It's a "white inner plastic PTFE liner" with a stainless steel over braiding.

Well if the hose and fittings are matched to each other then yes they will work.
But you arent giving any useful information to determine what you have....their colour just doesnt give enough info.
It's one of those cases where some pictures would be rather helpful.
And generally speaking you should not mix suppliers for hose and fittings, as there does tend to be small variations in sizing.

I've done my hole car with stuff from toques. Fuel in Teflon and other odd bits in the rubber stuff. I've not had any issues and been happy with the bits supplied. I'll carry on using them and would happily rate them to others
