Hi,

My TH2's could do with a refurb. But how much does it cost? Ideally they need a full overhaul back to alloy and repainting.

Any info would be appreciated.

Based on a quote for my 18" mv3's, 100 quid a corner.

 

about £200-£250 for all 4 but best bet is to ask the place where you want to get them refurbed at

 

I have just had 2 sets done for full refurb inc powder coating/tyre removal and refitting and colour of my choice for £190 a set of 4 up to 19"

 

£190 is a great price, 1-PD who did you get to do them

As a a general rule about £50-60 a corner, expect and extra £10 per vat for tyres to be removed and refitted.

Prices are on the up lately, I had a set done for £150 but that was 5 years ago

Lepsons who come highly recommend are about £300 for a set (size and type dependant)

Just had my 19s done in black ,they were fucked . £190 better than new , that's with a buckle repaired and a slight crack welded .


Ultimate alloys in Wickford Essex , cant say a bad word about them

 

They quoted me 265.. but that's taking the old powder coating off and re doing them. Plus leaving car with them.

the 5 spokes were only done last week and the price was £190 , no way you could get wheels to them without car as that might be storage costs the extra amount

 

Might invest in some axle stands and take wheels to them
