hi can anyone tell me what sort of job it is to fit and what I will need to fit the s1/rs1600i roll bar on the front of my s2 Thanks

 

A big one! My old series 2 had this conversion done. Its a lot of measuring and welding in nuts for the new mounting brackets

 

Do you have to use s1 gearbox or can you get round it ? And does it make a big difference to how it handles

 

you have to change the gearhousing to a mk3 one and run mk3 mounting bracket, and you need as above to make a new boltfixing

Ore you could try finding a TT setup ( only problem is that they are rare as hell ) as it will fit around the mk4 gearbox cradle

I bought one see the hassle involved and didn't bother in the end
