See who can spot their car "if your old enough" , saw my capri on it for all of 2 seconds and its the show where I bought my rs1600i too, plenty of well known cars in the vid and was held at charlbury, loved that venue as it was spacious and chilled not like silverstone but hey ho enjoy and listen out for the harry moss alarms lol and look out for the GREEN capri, ignore last 5 mins as its just a breakdown

There is some right horrid looking cars there. Thank god the cars dont look like that these days.

 

there are some shocking cars glenn, back in the day when all turbos had turbosystems sunstrips and tiger stripes plus some cars still in the show circuit today

 

I really enjoyed watching them thanks for sharing , although I agree with glenn there where some shocking mods back in the day lol

 

Aside from some shots of Mk1 Cortina's and that Corsair (old joke, the Ford Pubic was made from Corsairs) what I notice is how young most of the cars are. Some new or almost new and even the Mk3 Escorts would have been early teens at most.

Jump forward to 2015 and many of us are still lusting after those 60's & 70's Fords but settle for the practicality of 80's & 90's models.

I was old even in 1995 lol a lad of 28 with a pocket full of cash wasting it on fords & birds = what a plonka attended 1995s in my v8 capri bought a rs16i while there and then at 1996s bought a saph, then in 97 sold both the saph & the rs and bought a 4 year old xr4x4, those were the days

 

Back in the days where castle performance, severn valley, an turbo systems ruled the roost!! Love looking back😀

 

Amazing how many of those well-loved pride n joys have gone to Ford heaven in the last 18 years. But the purple 1300e at 8mins in on the 2nd video is still on the road...MOT expires next month !

 

for me me one of the sounds of the 90s were harry moss & sparkrite alarms going off everywhere due to them being crap, and car audio systems with far too many tweeters , plus side was I ran my v8 capri with cherry bombs
