Clutch was slipping on the rollers last week so couldn't map it properly or get a power figure but I'd say about 350 going by the terminals

Thats mad. Good time for a fwd car.

What's the reason for the back end of the car being up in the air.

Gary, unless you have already addressed it, keep an eye on the chassis leg, inner wing seems ect. I ended up with a scrap shell as it was pulling it apart. (i had a lot less power too)

Nice times mate!
Out of interest is the car road legal at all or is it used solely for the strip?

Cheers Paul

Cool matey. Does it work then having the weight over the front wheels. I take it this gives the carore traction.

It does work, K-Tec racing were turning upto santa pod about 16 years ago, removing the rear shocks and replacing them with a bit of box section whilst the rear end was not under compression.

Try the car without jacking the rear, I'm sure it make no difference. Look how many of the serious FWD cars have it.....

I no it makes no difference mate I have a n/a mk2 fiesta that's not jacked and it does the same 60fts .the only reason this is jacked is I put a old set of escort front springs in the rear to make it stiff but there 2" longer

250hp is easy mate ,I wouldn't bother with a borgwarner at that power tho there's plenty turbos that will make that power and spool early . I'd be looking at standard Subaru or Evo turbos cheap as chips would need a manifold to suit tho

Rs turbo gearboxes are a lottery even on standard power ,I wouldn't bother with c20let pistons either there's plenty of cheap rod piston packages these days .im over the water in wallasey
