Brakes for 4x4 saph

I've been thinking about upgrading the brakes on my saph and need some advise.
The difference in cost out there is amazing.
At first I had been considering AP's, but at between £1600-£1900 for a set of 4 pots with 330mm discs I thought I would look around first.
Had a look at hispec, compbrake, but have been fancying some k-sport ones recently. Cost wise they are around £1k. They are 330mm again but 8 pots.
I'm stuck as to what to do really? Save for AP's? Buy k-sport?
Which offer better performance? I'm thinking it might be the k-sport ones, which at nearly half the price would be the sensible/ best option?
The car is running 17" compomotive Mo's btw so 330 is as big as I can go realistically.

I had compbake 330's on mine then up graded to ap's also 330's with 4 pot calipers like the compbrake set I had. I could see why one was a lot cheaper lol. The ap's are spot on really good brakes I could make my compbrake kit fade after really heavy braking never seen my ap's do that

Hi mate I've just had a new set of APs, 330 discs j hooks fronts custom made & rear 300 discs j hooks custom made from reyland with ferodo pads I had them made to suit the wheels I had, total cost was £1900 & what a difference over the tarox grooved & drilled brakes I had on, Martin is worth a ring as he had time to go through what I wanted & told me what would & wouldn't work.

Have a chat with mt Motorsport, he has some lovely kits. With decent pads and bigger discs you probably dont need the calipers, you can save a lot of money with the std calipers on spacers. You can always upgrade the calipers later if you really think you need it. If you lay front and rear 330s next to std you will see that they are huge in comparison.
ads are brilliant but prob only necessary for prolonged and regular track use. The cossie isn't all that heavy.

I do intend to take it out on track quite a bit too though so I would be dissapointed if I got a lot of brake fade.
The car is 460bhp so I do think the bigger calipers will be helpful.
Still yet to hear from someone with the ksport package on.

What gear box set up do u have to run 460? I'm also considering the k sport calipers seems a good price at 1k
My cossie had K-sports at the front when I got it, 6 pots I think. I sold them and got a std kit, as I'm never going to break much past 300bhp, so they seemed a bit overkill...
Good points I noticed were that the calipers hadn't seized although the car had been in storage for quite some time, and the operation was smooth and linear as standard. Never drove them at the track, so can't comment on the fade - but overall quality seemed impressive for the price.
On my usual track even the main straight barely reaches past ton, so the standard brakes are still enough for a 300bhp 4x4, which is nice, as no-one ever made sharktooths big enough to fit anything better...

I am at 470 bhp with 500 ft torque and have just gone to skyline box with quaife front diff and supra rear on mk mounting kit and rear cover. Skyline. Box runs ets pro controller. Custom props.
