Hi all my ignition and starter motor went on my renault megane rx4 2.0l bought new parts put in place charged the battery but all the ignition lights has gone off and the car won't turn over at all. Any ideas what has gone wrong?

 

Are there any wires left that should have ben connected to the starter or battery?

 

Common problem m8 if the starter is at the back then you've fitted the live lead on the wrong way round and its earthing on the engine, hope this helps

 

You might have blown the fuse fitted at the positive terminal of the battery.
