Default Boot lid mk3 vs mk4

Just a quick question is there a difference in shape/design between the mk3 boot lid and mk4 apart from the spoiler, lock

The mk4 has two small swage lines on both sides just under the screen. A standard mk3 tailgate is flat through that area and a mk3 tailgate for an xr3i, turbo or 16i has a shallow recess to allow the shape of the spoiler to sit correctly. All in all there are a few differences between them all.

am sure the mk4 has a slight recess for the lock to fit in the mk3 is flat and the edge of the mk4 has a sticky out curve on the top edge so a mk3 spoiler wont fit
