Default Cosworth Data plates?

Can anyone help me with regards to the 2 data badges on the front panel in the engine bay on a Sapphire Cosworth? I would post the pictures from the car I am interested in, but I don't know which digits are unique to the car?

It's the silver plate that's unique to the car, the one with the VIN number on it. The other painted plate isn't very useful.

Thanks Paul. I just wanted to make sure neither said anything that wasn't relating to what the car is, I.E colour change. I have now HPI'd it and everything seems ok.

Lol, the only use the painted plate is it teaches you how to say your car's colour in German!
