Default Removing sound deadening?
Has anyone got any tips for removing the standard sound deadening?
I've tried using a heat gun and then cleaning it up with petrol afterwards but it's turning into a right paint in the arse.

Assuming you are on about the sound deadening pads, Why don't you use chisel and a hammer?

Quick easy job.
