Having a convo at work about old cars and I swear I remember a Ford advert of old where it shows how if you take your Ford Escort Mk1 to a dealer, they'll fit the parts into a Mk2 shell. Had all the bits laid out next to a bare shell. Can't for the life of me find it anywhere. Someone got a link to it?

Or am I hallucinating again?

 

I remember (and got it in a book somewhere) of a MK1 with all the bits laid out around it to convert it to rally spec, arches, turrets, wheels etc and one of a MK2 to convert to XPack...

 

That might be the one I'm thinking of!
