but what is the difference between a saff dash and a 3dr dash????

Not sure about the differences but has any one fitted RS500 clocks in a saff. The wiring connector is diffrent and i just wanted to know if it is a matter of joining like 4 like wire colours.

 

They are slightly different where the a pillar trims meet so you'll need to get sapphire a pillar trims too and the sapphire ones dont crack either. I fitted one to my white 3dr.

 

the windscreen de misting vents are different. saff ones are much nicer

 

I guess u're just comparing the top halfs of the dashes?

The bottom halves of the saph dashes are different on the 2wd and 4wd.

As said about A pillare if you use standard 3dr a pillar covers there will be about a gap of about 3/4" where dash meets A pillar.If you use sapphire A pillar covers The fit is better but the holes in Cover dont line up with holes in A Pillar.But it only a matter of drilling new holes.If anyone is getting rid of a cracked 3 dr dash and wants shot of it.I'm looking for 1 to practise something on. So please PM details of wot you got.
