I am upgrading the standard breathing on my cosworth. Looking at the oil return pipe on my 4x4 cossie in the sump I am not sure if this really is under oil level. The return pipe is fitted at the upper side of the sump. That would suggest the sump must be filled up to its top to get this oil return under oil level.

Is there someone who can tell what the situation for this oil return is inside the sump?

 

hi Wim the pipe that goes into the sump at the top is going down to the bottom inside the sump below the oil level
