Exclamation Escos cooling

As title I'm having a few issues I'm about to smash the thing
The car was running fine no probs what so ever then I noticed it was getting a little warm not in the red but close I thought fan switch had packed up so ordered a new fan switch and thermostat fitted it no change still getting hot ffs
I check the connections all good fuse is fine still nothing

Now this could be nothing but I was running out of ideas so I looked at the ecu well I mean I un clipped it from its place and the fans come on i thought great went and got a cuppa the fans were cutting in and out result not sure what done it but hey

I put the ecu back and the fans cut out now they won't come on ?

Any ideas

I know you can get a replacement loom for the fan, but not sure exactly what specific faults it cures?

Not sure where the standard wiring runs. But as Stu says MSD do a rewire loom which just plugs in to to the fan switch and battery so all original wiring is removed.
one for sale here if you're interested.

It's been a while since I've looked at any of this, but I'm 99% sure the fans don't have any connection to the ECU on the big turbo - what's yours? I know nothing about ST

OK, so just that double switch it the rad then. First (lower) temp the fans are run in series (6V each) then if it still gets hotter they both get 12V.
