Hi, I know the topic has come up before but I'm struggling to find a 1.8mm mk1 focus rs head gasket for my zetec turbo, does anybody have any links or know of a supplier for them?

 

Would it mess up you comp ratio if you used a st170 4 layer instead?

 

Ford dealer for the proper 1.8mm thick gasket, they cost about Ł110, I had toi get one last year when i had a little mishap on the way to ford fair, Burton do a cometic gasket thats 1.5mm thick but the price is about the same.

 

Yeah as above I got mine from ford directly.

 

Im using a standard st170 bottom end so I was after the thickest one I could get to try and lower compression. ive seen 1.4mm ones on ebay but I don't know how much difference that 0.4mm will make. ill check my local ford on Monday, cheers lads
