Well london is bathed in clear blue skys and 26d today and just got in the car and leather was roasting hot, turned on the A/C and felt not very cold
so looks like it needs a regas, anyone good any suggestions or discount codes for the big players in the market as kwik fit want £49 as do halfords and AST want £55, only 2 months ago I had a email from ATS offering it at £33 but like many did not need it then and offers expired

I do have the gauge and hose from a diy kit I had years back , can of gas is £39 though and I know you get £10 back when you return can so maybe a option there if all else fails Stu, just resent giving these people £50 when just 2 months back it was £33

My brother runs his own mobile re-gas (Air Medic franchise). He's based in Enfield.

Steve it does take pretty much a hour,
Connect hoses, check for pressure, a few other checks, then set the machine going, if it has any gas in it will take upto about 10mins to extract this and any old oil. Then you have a 20min vacum followed by leakdown test of 10mins. Then it will add the refrigerant and new oil, then a check that the system is working correctly, disconnect machine etc.
Before you know it a hours is about done.
