any idea what would be a rough estimate for getting the paintwork on a large sized car done? or how how many hours does it take to buff one up like this...? is it an all day job?

Not sure what a company would charge for this, there's stuff I've done that most wouldn't do...
There's a black blob eyed Impreza on here that's just been done, that was £150...
Never looked into costs/ prices...
No need to...
Done 4 pdr's on this... Pdr ain't cheap...
Fit parking sensors...
Chips, door details...
Then paint rectification plus interior spruce up...
It's a hobby to me, I enjoy being outside... It's peaceful...

A half decent detailer should be able to turn a car round in a day...
It baffles me some of these details you see where they've spent hundreds of hours on...
Must sit watching the polish dry!!!

Top work mate, looks good. Detailing is a hobby of mine to. I dont do it as much as I would like but when I feel like it i'll take a good day on a car. Really want to try the scratch removal with flattening work but dont dare just yet.

Regarding costs, before I bought my Focus RS the guy had it all done and sealed etc. complete job, was billed at £400 so its not cheap. Again, I cant see why some people take 400hrs to do something.

Really good to see a car that bad get back to what it should be, even if it was a vauxhall.....

Can be used all over in the right hands, it's a more powerful machine, bigger throw, faster correction...

What type of heads do you use on the buffers. Can you wash them out when they have been used.
