Anyone else think it's a damn shame Group C doesn't run any more? It was the pinnacle of racing in my opinion, insanely quick motors!

 

Group C ruled, just like F1 did at the same time. Technology has become too good and as a result most modern Motorsport is now boring.

 

Definitely, proper manual H box's too!

The only thing I watch these days is BTCC and Australian Super Touring Cars.

 

These things were awesome! I was reading a book on Le Mans and they said Bernie Eccelstone had a bit to do with the banning of group C, as then the technology in them was making them more exciting than F1, but Bernie had money and influence with the FIA, wasn't all his doing, but he was involved.

 

So true.
