2010 Fiesta boot keeps popping open

Think a 2010 model Fiesta is a Mk7?

Mate's other half's Fiesta boot keeps popping open while driving, I've said I'd take a look...
Is this a common issue?
What's the fix?

It be the switch in the tail gate as water gets in to them makes them play up

Spoke to a mate at Ford on Thursday he said the same thing, pressure pad.
£29 quid, flicked it out, new one fitted. Job sorted...
