I've got a 95' St EsCos, I want to fit an aftermarket temp gauge. We're is the best place to take it off?

I've got a thermostat housing been modified to take a temp sensor but it don't seem to fit very snug. Is there any better place to take off?

I want to keep the factory gauge working aswell.

Are the inline hose adapters any good?
