I need a single 17" Softline alloy (due to pothole damage to one of mine) and have been looking for what seems like ages - one has popped up on ebay but the seller wants £150 for it

Not sure wether to go for it ? Seems a load of ££ for just the wheel alone....... but then I could look for ever for just one to come up again I guess - what do you reckon ?

Could you not buy a set of 4 then sell on the other 3 individually? You might make a profit.

 

I had kind of thought that I might have to go down this route to be honest, although didn't really want the faff - think I'll make the chap an offer and see what happens !

 

Had a result with this in the end !

Offered the chap £125 which he accepted but only if I could collect - it was going to be a 4hr round trip so said I would try and arrange something in the next week or so.....

Then he contacts me on Sunday and says if I get it promptly, I can have it for £100 !!

Gave him an extra tenner to drop if off to a company near him who we deal with and one of our drivers picked it up and brought it back to me today !

Happy days ! Just got to get a tyre for it now and we're away !
