Focus rs mk1....sold
Ford focus rs 2003 with 121k but slowly rising as it's in daily use. I bought the car around 3 years ago with 96k on it and was completely standard. It was advertised with fsh when I bought it but when I went to buy it the owner couldn't find the service book. I have loads of receipts for the services and other parts from over the years. The cars bodywork is in very good condition as I've just had the whole front end painted due to stone chips and the rear arches painted as they were starting to scab at the bottom near the side skirts.
Around April last year I decided to up the power a little. I bought a mongoose exhaust, decat (still have the cat for mots), tubular manifold, front mount intercooler, forge actuator, k+n gen 2 kit and a bluefin remap software. The actuator has the weakest spring in which produces around 280bhp. I have a stronger spring which should take it to 300+bhp but I wanted to keep it reliable so have never fitted it and is still in the box.
On the outside I've fitted st170 style black headlights (originals inc in sale), functional mk2 rs bonnet vents, lower bumper splitter and had the original alloys painted gloss black.
Inside is all standard with the edition of Pioneer Bluetooth iPod ready head unit, unfortunately only 1 of the original rs mats (drivers side), the interior is in good condition for the mileage but the alcantara is badly torn on the drivers seat base and bolster.
Overall this has been a great car and never once let me down, the only reason it's for sale is my friend has offered me his escort cosworth so unfortunately this has to go to make room for the escort. Due this fact I will not be interested in any p/ex or swap so please don't ask as you will be ignored.
The price is £6,250 ovno
I think this is a reasonable price considering the mileage and it also makes it the cheapest non cat c/d focus rs for sale at the minute
