due to sell one of my Escort Cosworths next month and im hopefully buying another Escort Cosworth but ive had a desire to buy a RS500 for a while now and i need to satisfy the urge.

Looking for either a standard RS500 or one that has been very lightly modded .

Not too fussed on condition

I have seen the one that "North yorks RS" has up for sale and that is simply stunning but it may be out of my reach price wise but i wouldnt rule it out 100%

so come on what have you got ??

You will need to know that 99% of rs500s for sale these days do not go on the open market as they are sold without advertising

I have been involved in the sale of many rs500s over the last few years and about 10% have actually been advertised , the other 90% i sell to buyers i have on my books waiting for them

I do know of a low mileage (less than 20k) black RS500 which has been in storage since the early 90's.

The car is in show room condition, the outside is just as good as the underneath.

 

I know of a stunning black 500 for sale shortly and will be 40k. Is concourse underneath and in the engine bay. If I didn't have my escos id be snapping it up myself. (its actually now sold)

 

I'm kind of intrigued as to how much they are then these days but I know the old 'if you have to ask the price you probably can't afford it'...

 

So 20k for a genuine car needing the usual 3dr work would be a bargain then ???
