Default DIY Yellow Zinc Electroplating Setup.

Hi

I'm wanting to do my own Zinc plating at home but not sure what I would need and how safe is it really? I do understand the process as have been on Youtube to check out some vidz but there isn't any step by step process I can find.

What parts and ingredients would I need and what is the best setup to use?

I want the yellow zinc finish on my car parts, how do I achieve this?

Cheers

You can buy the kit on eBay, look at the description of contents and work from there. I'm going to be doing the same at some point.

I also went onto their site and got the download instructions. However because I'm in South Africa. Not too sure if ill be able to get the frost kit as chemicals are involved and could be risky for private import and issues with customs. I'll have to look for a similar kit here in SA or alternatively make one up myself.

If I can get the resources locally at low budget, that will be bonus.

Cheers
