Default ATM sport fraud again..

Well i guess you all know by now how shanky atm sport is.
But today i was just mesmerized by them.
I was browsing around for parts and found this ad:
http://www.rallycarsforsale.net/clas...tails&id=76565

Take a look at the first picture.
And then take a look at my build thread
https://passionford.com/forum/5072422-post107.html

Fifth picture.
They have actually used a photo taken by me of my engine!
The turbo and manifold on that photo is still in my basement and the rest of the engine is in a friends garage.

how low can you go?

If he had given you credit would that have been ok then?

Doesn't mean what he is selling is any different to the one you have.

Does save taking aimless pictures of the same things over and over again.

There are only so many times you can send people pics of the same item types.

The issue here isnt that he is using my photo, the problem is that he is taking random photos off the web and claims that this is the parts he is selling.

So if you are after a IHI turbo, find this ad and see the photo attached you assume that this is the exact part beeing sold.
This is a 2000Ł part! take the goddamn picture or inform in the ad that the pics are NOT of the actual parts beeing sold.

What I am trying to say is that its just an IHI turbo. They all look the same when used, what difference does it make.
If i ordered it as used they exterior wouldn't make any difference to me it's the interior that counts.

I would be expecting the item shown in the photo to be delivered if I bought it unless maybe when its a brand new part. Takes seconds to take a pic of a part, I imagine the one being sold is far skankier hence using someone elses photo.

They do seem to always have rare kit, but I would never buy from them unless I was collecting in person before handing over any cash.

Maybe because i rate things of importance, a photo i put on the internet for all to see i do not see the importance of others using it.

If when the item arrived it was not comparible then i would have something to say.

But when people ask for a pic that really shows no relevance other than physical looks is a waste of time.

For all you know that IHI on the engine could have a snapped shaft. That image shows nothing of its ability to compress air.

in these days of instant HD technology and 40+megapixel camera phones surely its easier to take a pic of the real thing than trawl the internet for similar pics?
id expect a pic of the real thing.

I would never buy a part without seeing a photo of the actual part.
And i hope noone else does the same.
And if you think this is a waste of your time i would advise you to rethink your business strategy.

ohh i must have mistaken you for someone else.
But still, by looking at the photos you can tell alot of how the part have been treated, if there is any leaks, sealsbroken, what car it has been fitted to and so on.
Maybe more important for us purchasing abroad.

Andy Thompson is a an absolute con man and I would strongly recommend to everybody that they avoid him like the plague. He regularly advertises that he's 'breaking' ex-works Escorts and RS500s which he isn't and steals pictures from other people's adverts. He has ripped off dozens if not hundreds of people in the world of Cosworth and motorsport. Anybody thinking about buying anything from him should be prepared for it to be broken or just a old road car part he claims to be "909". If he's selling something for Ł200, you can bet you'll get it elsewhere for half that. With the number of people he's scammed over the years, I'm amazed he's still trading rather than in hospital or prison!
