Some advice needed please on Sierra cosworth fuel gauge
Hi guys I've bought a Sierra RS cosworth and the fuel gauge hasn't worked since I've got it and want to fix it as its annoying
It's stay up up to 3/4's of a tank and when the ignition is turned on it goes to the top,I ve disconnected the 5-6 pin connection in the boot (back panel) as am I right in thinking this would rule out the float as its not getting a reading so wouldn't rise? Has anyone else had this issue and if so could you please help me out.
Also my Rev counter isn't worked as I am running a coil pack and believe there has to be something done to the dash instrument
my pals a sparky but a nightmare to get a hold off but if I drop the clocks into him then shouldn't take much to do
I'd be very greatful for anyone's help...
Thanks for taking the time to read this
Scott.
