XR3?!!! Written on the engine - MOTORSPORT! Engine "RS 1600i"! Injector and ignition system dismantled!

thats just a rocker cover which can be bought on ebay does not mean its a motorsport engine, no injection system as thats a carb no twin coils as thats a normal dizzy cap wrong front lip spoiler no bonnet/body graphics and different exhaust manifold to what I had on my rs16i as OE, looks just like a 1.6 cvh xr3 to me sorry fella still a shame though to see it in that condition

I live in Sochi (Russia). The car is sold in Ulyanovsk (Russia). I want to buy for restoration.

I understand but its not a rs16i so its not worth that much tbh

Who cares if it's a 16i or not, it's gotta be a rare old bus in Russia. In fact a XR3 is pretty rare over here too, much rarer than a 16i.

Get it bought, get a resto on the go and get a thread up.

The chassis number quoted above is that of an escort RS 1600i , assuming its stamped in the floor & has not been tampered with then its a genuine RS 1600i.
Car certainly looks like its had a hard life with a lot of original bits missing if it is a genuine 1600i.

Hate to say it but I was right but 700euros is not too bad though but will cost you a lot to repair and make roadworthy so you have toask yourself is it worth it
