Can you still wrap an exhaust manifold in thermal tape even if it's been ceramic coated ....

Reason is my one is chipped and no longer in mint condition

It's a 2wd iron cosworth item... Thinking would it retain to much heat and crack ??

 

Cast manifolds are fairly robust, wrap away.
