Default Sapphire Gaz Gold Spring rates

What Spring rates are people running in their 2wd RS Sapphires? For road and occasional trackday use?

Basic definition is as I understand it if we say a 350 lb spring this is the force required to deflect the spring 1 inch (350 lb/in).

I would also be interested to know what the shocks are set to on people's Gaz Gold coilovers, especially the folks who think the springs are too hard. Who has theirs set up just right in their opinion ?

Mine had a few different set ups one 450 front 275 rear and was far too bumpy in the road tried 225 rears and still horrible.
Eventually had the same as ksa above and was the best setup I had for mine . I used to wish I kept my Bayjoo / koni setup until I changed to the 350/180 ones.

I have Bilstien shocks with AVO lowered springs at the moment. With Gaz Golds specced with 180 lb rears and 350 lb fronts do you think I will have a better handling car than with my current setup?

Not to bad TBH, the Gold kit is plusher now than the car was with the standard GAZ coilover kit which had 300lb springs.
I went stiffer for the benefits on track though.

Thanks, I have been advised rates as low as 250 lb front and 160 lb rear. That sounds very soft to me though.
