Or did they change them when they brought out the small turbo version??

do you mean the engine loom or the whole thing? the engine loom will be different id have thought because the small turbo uses a maf sensor ,the temp sensor is in a diff place and the coil packs,ign amp, etc,its also routed differently round the plenum

 

no just the car loom, yes absolutely sure the engine loom is different, i am wondering if you can plug a small turbo engine loom into an older car loom!!
