Default 1.6 tdci battery

had the a out this morning who ended up replacing the battery on my 1.6 tdci focus but ask me to check with a garage as he stated that it was drawing 2amps when the engine was of and that this was high
Can anyone confirm what amps the battery should be drawing when the engine is off

If it's pulling 2 amps at rest then you are going to wake up to a flat battery.

Should be down in the milliamps when the car is locked and 'gone to sleep'.

My mistake just read the a mans notes and it say it was putting out o.2 amps ater the engine had been off 20 min
At this time the dash board hadn,t gone off this took about half an hour and once it did the voltage dropped so he said that it shouldn't take that long and that the 0.2 was high for the engine off and the dash not shut down

I have the same issue with my month old 64 plate Fiesta ST2. Four battery drains in the first month, AA have been out each time to 'boost' start it. Measure a drain when car is off/locked up. My car has been in the dealers for 3 weeks & so far no fix.

About half an hour for the dash display to go off is normal on a focus. Was the old battery definitely knackered then or just flat?

I'd just leave it and see what happens. You can always test the current draw by yourself once the car has fully shut down. Don't forget to lock the car and make sure the bonnet switch is closed so the car thinks the bonnet is shut.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it for now. Just see if you get any more problems.
