Hi all my car is a 1.6 tdci and has a slight hesitation

For quite a while since it started I've changed
Oil with engine flush
Redex
Air filter
Cambelt
Remap

But still there it on acceleration mainly after going fairly quick if you ease off then accelerate again
What could this be, my next plan is fuel filter change but heard this could be a nightmare
Any tips

 

Could be anything, my guess would be EGR or DPF. Get it scanned see if anythings logged, as them to do a static regen aswell if you have a DPF.

Make sure you get as much fresh fuel in the new fuel filter as possible before fitting, enough to start it then immediately hold the revs at about 2500RPM for a minute or 2. If it wont start get someone to give you a tow start.

 

Thank you it's has egr blank fitted this problem was there before fitting and no dpf I was very lucky
