Default saphire cosworth fuel filter leaking

got a problem with my saph after changing fuel cradle and fuel filter i carnt stop it from leaking even after trying numerous copper washers anybody had this issue its burning my head out

no shit or rust on face of banjos carnt understand it tried more washers this morning really cranked them down still leaking????

Think this might be your problem, you only really need to nip them up to get a good seal, any more and it will deform the washer too much and it won't seal properly.

take the washers off and heat them with a blow lamp until they are cherry red, allow then to cool. they will now be nice and soft. when you fit them just nip them up do not overtighten them and they should then be fine

cheers chaps for replys i will try heating the copper washers up tomoz with a blow torch see if that works
