start this one crying lol, well after having rotten turbo i had to get rid and decided to swap into a mint shell i found, i rewired the whole car from fresh (all checked via ECU pin to sensors for correct location etc). well the engine on the car starts perfect but when it comes to revving it even a tiny amount all i get is misfire !

Driving me nut, im a mechanic and tested about everything. I need to give the ignition a check to make sure thats spot on but cart see how that would of changed but im thinking black fuel ECU, is there a way to test there working !!!!!!!!!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>> thats where i think the issue is ??????

Did compression test by the way COLD and got 150 psi across the 4 so there ok

 

Anyone know about testing the black ECU ? whats the signs of a bad one, like i say starts mint just wont rev just misfires like on 2/3

 

what type of ECU is it? do you know nay one near by who might me able to swap one of for 1/2 hour to try ?

The 2 other things to look at are ignition module and CPS.

Also do you know any one with a scope so you can check out the output from the cps?

assuming its EFI if MFI im not so sure.

 

Its MFI mate so doesnt have the above. Should of said
