Sierra Cosworth 3 door
Sierra
If I walked into a pub and said I just spent 14.5k on a B reg Sierra Cosworth replica the whole pub would be pissing themselves laughing saying that dealer saw you coming, only way I'd spend that money on a B reg Sierra Cosworth replica is if I owned millions to the point that spending 14.5k would be like spending 500 quid to a fella like me now, I think only an idiot with more money than sense will pay these prices

That's strong money for a genuine minter 3 door mate.
No-one in their right mind would pay even half of that for a replica. Or if they did, I'd question their sanity.

thats the prob with projects like this they cost so much to source the parts and the effort that goes into building them but you never get that back , the price is real 3dr money and i think hed prob get more breaking it as i cant see anyone paying that for it
i'll try and be a bit constructive here.
if you want to get any where near 14.5k then you have to break it for parts & even then you'll fall well short. You will never achieve 14k for a b reg replica. its about 10k overpriced as it stands IMO

Maybe he's hoping he gets an email from nigeria asking him to send it via a shipping container and they'll send him the money via western union with a bit more to pass on to one of their associates lol
the title is misleading as it is not a sierra cosworth but a replica, the price isn't a joke either as i have seen this car forsale a couple of months back on a different forum for the same high price!
Think this bug is catching other people as well! Had some numpty offer me his 3dr for my series one and focus rs. Combined value of my cars around 12k and he says his 3dr 12k car so thought ok send me some pics. The pics arrive and car looks stunning in moonstone blue and on d plate. I then ask for engine pics and notice it has a standard sierra brake servo. I ask where's the cossie one and he then starts spouting shit about it being a 909 shell and was fitted with a v8 when he bought it. I asked if it was a cosworth on v5 and he says it will be as since he fitted the cossie engine he has sent the logbook off for them to change it to cosworth on there
I then noticed it had no sunroof and told him where to stick his replica and informed him he'd be lucky to get 8k for it. His reply was "909 shells are well rare and are worth a lot more than genuine cosworth" at this point I could tell I was on a losing battle as this bloke obviously knows his stuff lol
