Default Sapphire dash in a 3 door

Considering putting a sapphire dash in my 3 door as mine dash has a few minor cracks, kind of a shame to put a non original one in but the cracks are annoying me, i know from experience they dont repair well and just crack again. However some of the saff dashes dont seem to fit very well where the a pillar trims meet the dash from what ive seen, is this just how they are or can the be jiggled to fit nicely? Is there a particular year of dash that is best to use?

Ideally you need to find one from a 5 door sierra not the saff and use the matching windscreen pillar trims, perfect fit then, I think the saff one fits better if you use use the sierra trims, I think the rake is slightly different on the saff screen even though the screens are the same, hence why they dont seem to fit exactly

Makes sense that a normal sierra one would be better, will keep an eye out for one

I have a saph dash on a 3dr and all is good
There is a small miss match on the pillars but my cage runs down there
So it's not a problem for me

You want a early taxi dash, that's what I have in mine.

The dash on the left is from a early taxi the one on the right from a latter one.

It fits fine in the car

Didn't the car SOS lot put a sapph dash in the one they did?
Ones I've seen look fine.
Doesn't the 3dr have a grille in the centre top of the dash though?

Im going to try to fit the grill out if mine into the sapp dash, as i reckon i can cut the hole smaller than needed then remove the material then cut the card stuff to then fold it over the edges.
