Just seen that Mike and Edd will be tinkering with Ford Sierra Cosworth tonight at 9 pm Wheeler Dealers on Quest (Freeview 37).

Been good series to watch so far, as you get more Edd (good) than Mike (annoying at times) usually!

yes mike gets stung good and proper then screws the shit out of the car and just turns it off gets rid of the rs steering wheel for the standard one the guy is a tool

 

As per the other thread - Mike Brewer is a grade A prat who doesn't know one end of a car from the other.

I love it when mike launches it up the strip and the rear squats hard and the rear wheels judder, that suspension looks proper shagged out

 

been wheeler dealed and sold to a few different owners since the show aired years ago and last seen in a breakers yard last year

 

Bugger! I know it wasn't the best but it would of been nice if someone had taken the time to really turn it into a proper tidy example.

I have pics of it from when wayne on here owned it and came along to passionfords birthday bash at the ace cafe a few years back and the original 1st buyer from the show brought it along to one of my watford meets, the engine was removed and bits of running gear and was on ebay some time back looking very sorry for itself stripped, will dig them out later

 

Enjoyed watching this episode, I only got freeview, so these episodes of Wheeler Dealers all new to me.
They are all a good watch, but bit simplistic in their 'restoration' jobs bet not all is shown, tell Mike to check resto threads on here for proper job, but only an hour and all of the cars gleaming at the end of the show, but not all shown having a valet or paintwork, funny that!

As with everything on Quest and Freeview in it's entirety, you either get repeats of programs from yesteryear or +1, it was on a long time ago.

the car had problems even after it was bought with leaking shock and faulty waistegate and iffy electrics, when they did the escort mk1 it needed a new engine almost instantly

 

My friend had the shell and re-shelled his rotten 4x4 into it, all done and back on the road now

 

good to hear tell him to get some pics up

 

Did seema bit dodgy though when he bought it, said its all been rebuilt engine wise, yet the valve stem seals/guides were fucked. How cheap/much of a bodge was this build then? Must of been hell of a cheap build with several corners cut!

 

Init just I thought that, why would u rebuild an engine and not change valve stem oil seals at least!

 

Made me laugh when Edd fitted a std HG!
