Just wondering what they would sell for is it was a normal escort with a cosworth engine inside and body kit to suit.

Not being a real one just wondering how you would price it up.

I dont have one for sale nor am i looking at one but i was just wondering being a Sunday with nothing to do

I would say if shell was clean of rot and rust and it was a good spec and kit done properly 5k-7k just my opinion mind

 

You'd get nowhere near £7k. Sure you see genuine Escorts popping up for £9-£10k. It'd be worth more in parts. That will depend on what parts it actually has? What block does it have? What transmission? What mods etc.

 

Like that red escort cossie look a likey on ebay.

 

Lets say pretty much standard just with a few bits to see it at 300 bhp?

Also logbook changed so everything is all good.

 

It'll depend on how well it's done? Have Ford panels been used etc? You can't really guess a price without seeing a car like that.

 

Really not sure it was just out of boredom Ive really not seen one or got one to sell so can't say hat it would have.

Red one,looked the part,engine and everything.Think it sold for £7000.
But didn't have the whale tail,he sold it to someone on here and they put a whale tail on and it looked the bollocks.

 

Think it would be cool to have only because it would look the part and be cheaper.

 

Price of the engine and drive train if cossie plus interior also if genuine, maybe 3-4k rest is scrap value.
