I think I paid about 400 quid for a new chip to be fitted and a new actuator and a lambda sensor fitted.
My car is a totally differnet car since its been remapped.

i wouldn't know the prices on old Webber stuff i run Motec but must be able to get them done for bit better than that maybe ask about a group/club discount. not going to say who does my mapping but if hes good enough to go worldwide mapping for Motec and his own business he must no what he's doing
But Motec surely must be over a grand+ And then do you have to pay for each map Tweek?
I know stand alone ECUs offer a lot more too as i have had them myself as you know.
Guess it's all personal choice mate

I pay £325 for my mapping sometimes take 4 hours sometimes takes the whole day but its set price and that is Dave Walker at Emerald. and that includes triple map ie 3 different maps.
The Motec stuff is dear yes the M800 was about 2k but you can keep upgrading and adding stuff which is good i.e i have anti lag and launch control. The thing with the map is in most cases the car is up and running and only a few things have been changed on the engine so it only needs basic adjustment so £400-500 is a lot of money i feel. Also most mappers already have the base maps on files already developed so again they only need to adjust the file to your engine
