Sapphire 4x4 brake upgrade
I am looking to upgrade my brakes to a better spec.
The car is stage 1, so not huge bhp, but happy enough for me.
I am considering the following discs

Is there a caliper I could use with these rather than standard ones???
Thanks in advance
Jas

That depends on what kind of wheels you have.
I actually asked Martin whether he could do a 330 mm brake kit with the standard calipers (this kit). The reason was that my wheels don't give much clearance for the calipers (a standard 4x4 issue). In the end the 330 mm was even to big, so I went for a 320 mm kit.
If your wheels give enough clearance I would go for a 4 pot caliper setup.

Hi Marc
My wheels are 18" Comps.
Dont want to go to mad as putting bigger brakes on the 3 Door Cosworth too.
Car is only stage 1 so really only for improoved braking, dont need massive kit
Could Brembos be added to this (eg Focus RS ones)

I would measure the clearance you have currently between the outer disc face and the inside of the wheel spokes. 4 pot calipers need about 6 cm clearance. But I believe Comps normally give quite a lot clearance, so perhaps you are OK.
